Dar Maur Manor opened in 1989 specializing in American Saddlebreds and Morgans. Over
the past 25 years, we have expanded our specialty to include Hackney ponies. We are
located at 2858 Old State Route 12 in Sauquoit, New York, approximately 10 minutes from
the New York State Thruway, less than 10 minutes from Utica, 5 miles south of New
Hartford, and just 5 miles east of Clinton. At Dar Maur Manor, we offer riding lessons,
driving lessons, boarding, showing
, sales, limited horse training, and equine transport.
Contact us here or stop in for pricing or more information. We are open 7 days a week
with our primary residence on the property, and are available and happy to meet with
you at any time.

Our instructors provide safe, fun riding instruction for pleasure, for exercise, or with the
show ring in mind.  Your goals are our goals.

Our riding lesson instructor, Laura DeStefanis, has more than 25 years of rated and open
show experience. An accomplished equestrian in the show ring, she has instructed both
aspiring and experienced riders of all ages in saddle seat equitation for the last 16 years.
Her students have competed in leadline, walk-trot, academy, saddle seat equitation, and
performance classes with great show ring success.

Our riding lesson instructor and assistant, Danielle Patak, is a 2013 graduate of the
Morrisville College Equestrian Studies program.  Danielle is experienced in saddle seat,
hunt seat and western riding and provides instruction in the saddle seat and hunt seat
disciplines.  Danielle competes in the saddle seat and driving divisions and her students
have competed in both academy and performance classes.

Our owners, Tom and Maureen Quackenbush have over 25 years experience working
with and caring for horses and offer only the finest care for your equine.
